Hem Up
First of all, we calculate shrinkage. Then cut the hems and take them up in a raw condition. Advantage of hem up rigid jeans has two reasons. One is to finish chain stitch neatly. And second is to give motivation to you. If you wash to remove starch by yourself, you will get warm feeling to your jeans. We hope you wear it long time with care.
We do hemming service with Union Special, great sewing machine. If you wear the jeans around three month, puckering will come out on your denim. And it gives good effect to color fading. We will report with pictures. Don’t miss it.
Branding
Branding is UES original service. We brand your purchase day on your leather patch with hot iron. The patch is made from natural leather so it gets darker gradually. You can enjoy the aging change. Branded denim is the only denim for you. This will show you the start day easily.
First Wash
Fine day is the best to dry your jeans well.
Close the all front buttons. Turn the jeans inside out. Then prepare 60 degree c water in a bathtub and put it in for one hour to remove the starch. Be careful water temperatures. If the water is too hot it may transform a leather patch.
Wash it with detergent by washing machine. Bleach-free or whiter-free detergents are recommended.
Hang out the denim in the sun for a natural dry. The salvage of the out seam should be neatly unfolded.
After the Wash
The jeans get twists and rucks by washing. You may feel it is tight due to wrinkle’s shrinkage by the first wash. However it will fit you soon if you wear gradually. This is going to be great fun to see the change of UES 400-R.
Leather patch get shrink by washing. It is made from natural leather so shrink has individual different. There is no change in color. For the detail of leather patch, please refer Branding Service.
If you put the wallet in the back pocket you will get selective fading in the wallet shape. To put something in the pocket gives high pressure to back pockets. Sometimes it may damage but it will be accent on your denim. Repair your jeans by yourself. And you will increase attachment to it.
Hem has bumps compare to raw denim. This is the result of puckering by chain stitch. After few months, you can see selective fading.
